1. Rinse 1 cup of buckwheat in a mesh colander until water runs clear.
2. Add buckwheat and 2 cups of water to a rice cooker and let cook.
3. Place salmon fillet on a lightly oiled pan (I use avocado spray) and bake at 425°F for 12 mins.
4. Microwave steamable frozen sweet potatoes and spinach on high for 8 minutes, then set aside.
4. Once salmon is ready, add to a food processor or large blender and pulse until broken up.
5. Move salmon to a large pot with 1/2 tablespoon of pumpkin powder, 1/2 cup of frozen blueberries, cooked sweet potatoes, and half a bag of cooked spinach.
6. Add in 1 cup of cooked buckwheat. (Freeze remaining buckwheat to use for another recipe)
7. Cook on medium heat, stirring often, then spread on pan until cool.
8. Divide six portions into freezer-safe resealable bags. ***Each serving size is one meal (2 meals a day) for a 55-65-pound adult dog. Our Dog is on a weight loss journey with a goal weight of 55 pounds. ***Please consult your veterinarian before proceeding with a homemade dog food recipe.
